Here's the result of my first stab at embroidery. I based this owl off a design from a 1970's bulletin board that has been floating around my family's house for years. I embroidered him onto a piece of scrap fabric, and liked it enough that I sewed it onto a tank top using a really tight zig-zag stitch.
